A blend of Desert and Sea

Author: Vivek Kuriyal

The name 'Dubai' thrill me too as it thrills others. I witnessed the unique beauty of Dubai City when I was there on a vacation last month. A city for shopping freaks, and ambitious businessmen, it does have something for everyone to see, enjoy and relish. I was filled with excitement while viewing the creek from an abra, a small water taxi. The natural sea water inlets through the center of the city are never-seen combination of desert and sea. I found both the sides on the banks of creek boasting of their assets like shopping malls, skyscrapers, hotels and offices.

People from diverse origins have developed Dubai as a cosmopolitan city. I hardly had received such warm hospitality at any other destination. Seeing two business districts Both Deira and Bur Dubai connected by a tunnel and two bridges was a unique experience. They do justify their recognition of commercial paradise. I was mesmerized to see the modern shopping malls'they are out of the world. I am sure of not being able to stop myself from being there very soon.
